data-mm-id=”_p8a5gke57″>The NBA restart in Orlando was very heavy on social justice before the events of this week unfolded. Now, players and teams will both be doing even more in the battle against the issues plaguing our society and will not hesitate to be vocal about the issues they're passionate about. Jamal Murray did so today with a pair of sneakers he placed on his stool for a few minutes before his media availability. The sneakers are adorned with the likeness of George Floyd and Breonna Taylor. Floyd was killed in May by police and was the catalyst for a wave of protest and calls for change across the country that still continue. Taylor was killed by Louisville police in March and Justice For Breonna Taylor has become a rallying call for many in the NBA and WNBA. #BlackLivesMatter pic.twitter.com/j2C5yP1AxK— Denver Nuggets (@nuggets) August 29, 2020It's unclear if Murray plans to wear them during the Denver Nuggets' Game 6 matchup with the Utah Jazz, slated to tip off at 6:30 ET tonight. This is what he had to say to media about them. “How long was that? Two minutes? One person on those shoes had a knee on their neck for eight. You just got to think about that.”Jamal Murray on starting his media availability by placing a custom pair of George Floyd and Breonna Taylor shoes on a stool and walking off @brkicks pic.twitter.com/QnRoES135G— Bleacher Report (@BleacherReport) August 29, 2020Another powerful and important message in a week chalk full of them from the NBA and the men who make it up. We'll be seeing even more in the coming days, weeks, and months. The battle for justice and equality does not stop, and will not stop.

Early goals from Mathys Tel and Alphonso Davies saw the injury-depleted Bavarians go 2-0 up by the sixth minute.
Hoffenheim, however, pulled a goal back through Germany international Maximilian Beier just two minutes later, with the hosts gradually taking some of the early pace out of the game.
Bayern s injury troubles were further compounded when they lost Aleksandar Pavlovic to injury in the 35th minute, and struggled to cope with Hoffenheim s threat in the second half.
Kramaric then delivered a stunning 19-minute hat-trick with the Bayern defence in ruins, ending a disappointing season in thir…
Uruguay head coach Marcelo Bielsa shouldered full responsibility for his side s shock 1-0 defeat to Peru in their World Cup qualifying encounter.

Sunderland Manager Steve Bruce will expect his charges to maintain their great home form whilst Brian Laws will expect his Burnley team to fight for their lives with relegation beginning to look like a likelihood.
Sunderland had such a slump in the mid part of the season it is hard to believe that they have picked up enough points this season to be effectively safe with a handful of games to go, but such is their home form, with only two home defeats all season, that they deserve their retained status for this factor alone. Much has been down to the goalscoring exploits of Darren Bent, who is still pushing for an England place with 22 goals this season in the Premierleague. Sunderland have a fairly strong squad to pick from but injury doubts remain over the excellent but injury…
